Electric Iron Drop Test Equipment
Standard: Clause 21.101 of IEC 60335-2-3 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety: Part 2-3: Particular requirements for electric ions, Clause 21.101 of IEC 60335-2-17 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety: Part 2-17: Particular requirements for blankets, pads and similar flexible heating appliance.
Application: It is used to test the mechanical strength of the electric iron in the normal operating conditions and with rated input power, also used for checking the drop resistance performance of the blanket’s control device.
Test sample: Electric iron, control device of blankets and etc.
Feature: Hang up the electric iron blanket control device, and make the control device is horizontal to the bottom plate, then drop from a height of 40 mm and fall to a rigid support plate which is at least 15 mm thick, with mass at least 15kg, process the test 1000 cycles at the speed of no exceed 20 cycles per min. Ensure that the electric iron stays on the steel plate at least 15% of the total time of each cycle, and this is realized by the cam structure.
