2.5kg CVT pulley adopts carburizing heat treatment process, CVT
pulley mainly adopts low-carbon alloy steel.
According to international standards, steel is divided into
non-alloy and alloy steels. Non-alloy steels are usually called
carbon steels. In addition to iron and carbon, steel also contains
a small amount of alloying elements Mn, Si, Al, impurity elements
P, S and charge gas N, H, O, etc. Alloy steel is another kind of
steel in which a certain amount of alloying elements Cr, Ni, Mo and
V are deliberately added to obtain certain physical, chemical or
mechanical properties and control impurities and harmful elements.
The main alloying elements of alloy steel are silicon, manganese,
chromium, nickel, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, titanium,
niobium, zirconium, cobalt, aluminum, copper, boron, rare earth and
so on. Vanadium, titanium, niobium, zirconium and so on are strong
carbide-forming elements in steel. As long as there is enough
carbon, their carbides can be formed under appropriate conditions.
When there is a lack of carbon or at high temperature, they will
enter the solid solution in atomic state. Manganese, chromium,
tungsten and molybdenum are carbide forming elements, some of which
enter into the solid solution as atoms, and the other part forms
replacement alloy cementite. Aluminum, copper, nickel, cobalt,
silicon and other non-carbide elements generally exist in the solid
solution as atoms.
