Product Description:

The `liner hanger` is an effective tool which can be used to complete the casing installation in cased hole operations. When set into position it creates an overlapping annular space, or "V0ID", which can be sealed using a `Packer`. This seals the overlapping annular space preventing the migration of fluid/gas between the casing and the formation, thus eliminating the risk of `gas channeling`.
After the cementing process, the packer should be set to seal the overlapping annular space and prevent any further migration of fluid/gas. Once the packer has been set, the drill string should be lifted up to create a `bell mouth` and allow any excess cement slurry to be circulated without affecting the integrity of the lower formation.
