355*22mm Cast Iron Brake Disc For Audi RS6 C7 Rear Oversized Disc
Serious wear of cast iron brake disc will occur:
1. Brake fatigue
2. Brake jitter and abnormal noise
3. Damage the brake disc, resulting in premature and excessive wear of the brake disc.
4. Serious damage to the braking system may occur.
You must repair the car in these cases
1. Abnormal brake noise
When driving, if you step on the brake, it will make a sharp and
harsh metal friction sound, which is mostly caused by the hard
material impurities in the brake pads, resulting in the hard wear
of the brake pads and brake discs. If it is drum braking, it may be
due to improper adjustment of the measuring vehicle clearance or
delayed return of the brake shoes. If there is abnormal noise when
releasing the hand brake after a long time of parking, it is mostly
the problem of the return of the measuring pad or brake shoe
2. Brake softens
If you feel very soft when stepping on the brake and help a lot,
this situation is mostly due to the failure of the caliper, such as
the pedal travel becomes longer due to excessive damage of the
brake pad and brake disc, or there is too much water in the vehicle
oil, air in the brake oil circuit, etc. If this is the case, you
can step on the brake for several times to see if the pedal is
still soft. If so, you should check and repair it in time
3. Brake does not return
This situation is more like when the brake becomes soft, there is
no resistance when stepping down, and there is no strong rebound.
At this time, we should be vigilant. First look at the amount of
brake oil left in the brake oil tank, and then immediately drive to
the repair shop for straight inspection, because this situation is
likely to be the leakage or air in the brake oil circuit
4. The brakes harden
This problem is relatively simple, and the hardening of the test
vehicle will not affect the braking effect. When the car comes to a
steady stop, step on the brakes to make the test car hard, and then
start the car. If the brakes become soft after landing, it means
that the agent car has no problem, otherwise you have to go to the
repair shop for inspection
5. Tremble when stepping on the test vehicle
This kind of situation is not common. It is basically because the
brake pads or brake discs are damaged too much and the disc surface
is not flat. Therefore, when stepping on the car, due to constant
friction, you will find that the brake pedal bounces and feels
shaking. In this case, you should go to the repair shop for
inspection in time. If it is a problem with the disc, it is
generally replaced directly
6. Car deviation
When stepping on the brake system, the steering wheel will deflect
to one side, which is mainly caused by the uneven force of the
wheel cylinder on the left and right sides of the test vehicle on
the test pad. This situation will also lead to the eccentric wear
of the brake pad. Therefore, when this problem is found, it is best
to check it immediately. If you just change the brake pad, it will
not cure the symptoms
