There are two main manufacturing processes: Hot push forming and stamping forming. Stamping elbow is an earlier forming process applied to mass production of seamless elbow. It has been replaced by hot pushing or other forming processes in the production of common elbow specifications. It can only be used when there are special requirements for some elbow specifications due to small production quantity, too thick or too thin wall thickness.
Carbon steel socket welded 90 degree elbow is mainly used in petrochemical power, aerospace, military industry, fire protection, metallurgy, shipbuilding, gas, nuclear power, environmental protection and other departments and fields requiring high pressure and precision size. In application, two 45 degree elbows can not be welded into 90 degree elbows for use, because elbows are stress concentration areas on pipes, and most of the stress of expansion and cooling deformation are released at elbows. In addition, the weld itself should be a weak link, and fatigue deformation will soon cause cracking damage and loss.
