Product Description:
GE Fanuc Discrete input module for 90 - 30 series PLC offers 16
input points with one common power input terminal. It requires an
AC power source for convenient operation. Module has LED indicators
at the top to offer ON/OFF status of each point. Module has circuit
wiring information on the surface towards the inside and circuit
identification information on the outside surface. Module has a
voltage rating of 120 VAC at 50/60 Hz, 0 - 132 VAC at 50/60 Hz,
input current rating of 12 milli-Amps and a power rating of 90
milli-Amps at 5 VDC. It has a maximum ON response time of 30
milli-seconds and maximum OFF response time of 45 milli-seconds.
Module is compatible with input devices such as pushbuttons, limit
switches and electronic proximity switches. Input/output module
provides the interface between the PLC and external input devices
such as proximity sensors, push buttons, switches and BCD
thumbwheels. It supports different voltage ranges, types, current
capacity, isolation and response time to meet your application.

relays, BCD displays and indicator lamps. This module requires an

Note: When using the RS-485 mode, the CMM can be connected to RS-422 devices as well as RS-485 devices.
Serial Port Pin Assignments: The RS-485 signals for port 2 and the RS-232 signals for port 1 are assigned to the standard connector pins. The RS-232 signals for port 2 are assigned to normally unused connector pins.
IC693CBL305 Wye Cable: A Wye cable (IC693CBL305) is supplied with each Series 90-30 CMM and PCM module. The purpose of the Wye cable is to separate the two ports from a single physical connector (that is the cable separates out the signals). In addition, the Wye cable makes cables used with the Series 90-70 CMM fully compatible with the Series 90-30 CMM and PCM modules.
Product Description: The Communications Coprocessor Module (IC693CMM311) provides a high performance coprocessor for all Series 90-30 modular CPUs (cannot be used with embedded CPUs - models 311, 313, or 323). This module supports the GE Fanuc CCM communications protocol, the RTU (Modbus) slave communications protocol, and the SNP protocol. This module has two serial ports. Port 1 supports RS-232 applications and Port 2 supports either RS-232 or RS-485 applications. The module can be configured using the configuration software, or by using a default setup. Since both serial ports are wired to the module?s single connector, an IC693CBL305 Wye cable is supplied with this module to separate the two ports for ease of wiring. A system with a 331 or higher CPU can have up to four CMMs (in the CPU baseplate only).
