1. Introduction

LUGBML is based on Von Karman’s Vortex Principle, which adopts piezoelectric crystal as testing components. It is a new kind of stress detecting vortex flow meter. It has the advantage of wide range ratio, high accuracy, low pressure loss, good medium generality, pulse output proportional to flow, convenient to connect with computer and etc. As the detector probe of sensor and the vortex generating body are installed separately, and the high temperature resistant piezoelectric crystal doesn’t contact with medium, so the instrument is of simple structure, good generality and high stability.

LUGBML series Vortex Flow Meter sensor can be used to detect and measure the flow of all kinds of gas, liquid and steam.

LUGBML series Vortex Flow Meter can be used to match with our company’s ML6000 series Velocity Flowmeter. It can also match with a computer and sensors of temperature, pressure, or density to compose high accuracy mass flow or heat flow detecting and measuring system.

 

2. Features

  • The structure of Vortex Flow Meter is simple and solid, no movable parts and it is very stable.
  • Simple installation and easy maintenance.
  • Wide measuring range, the ratio is up to 10:1.
  • The volume of fluid is compensated according to requirements, and the instrument coefficient does not need to be re-calibrated after the replacement of the accessories.

6. Design & Installation

It is very important to install the instrument. If it is not installed properly, it will affect the accuracy, service life and damage.

1. In order to avoid strong current, high frequency, high power switch group, the power supply of the instrument should be avoided close to these devices.

2. Avoid high temperature and radiation sources. If installation is required, heat insulation and ventilation measures must be taken.

3. In order to avoid high temperature and enchanting gas, ventilation measures should be taken if installation is required.

4. The vortex flowmeter should be installed in the shaking part of the pipeline. If it must be installed on it, a clamping device and a 2D vibration pad should be added to enhance shock resistance. It is best to install the instrument indoors. When installing outdoors, pay attention to waterproofing. Pay special attention to the joints and make the cable wires U-shaped to prevent water from entering the amplifier body. The installation place should save enough space for the installation of cables and daily maintenance.
