625 Inconel Cladding Introduction:

 

The advantages of surfacing method compared with other surface treatment methods:

1) The combination of overlay and base metal is metallurgical combination, with high bonding strength and good impact resistance.

2) The composition and performance of the overlay metal are adjusted easily. The conventional formula of arc welding electrode or flux core electrode is very convenient. Various alloy systems can be designed to adapt to different working conditions.

3) The thickness of overlay is large, and the thickness of the overlay layer can be adjusted within 2-30mm, which is more suitable for severe wear condition.

4) It can save cost and economy. When the base of workpiece is made of common materials and the surface is overlaid with high alloy, it not only reduces the manufacturing cost but also saves a lot of precious metals. In the process of workpiece maintenance, the welding alloy is reasonably selected and the surface of damaged workpiece is repaired by overlay welding. It can greatly prolong the life of the workpiece, prolong the maintenance period and reduce the production.

5) Because the welding technology is to increase or restore the size of parts by welding, or to obtain alloy layer with special properties on the surface of parts, it is not difficult and operable for the personnel who can master the welding technology skillfully.

 

Our company mainly adopts gas shielded surfacing technology. Compared with other surfacing methods, gas shielded surfacing has the following advantages:

 

(1) Gas shielded welding is a kind of open arc welding. During the welding process, the heating and melting of arc and molten pool can be clearly seen, which is convenient to find problems and timely adjust, so the welding process and weld quality are easy to control.

(2) Gas shielded welding usually does not need to use tubular welding wire, so there is no slag in the welding process and no slag cleaning after welding, which saves the auxiliary labor hours of slag cleaning and reduces the welding cost.

(3) Wide range of application, high production efficiency, easy to carry out all-position welding and realize mechanization and automation.

(4) Suitable for welding most metal and alloy, most suitable for welding carbon steel and low alloy steel, stainless steel, heat resistant alloy, aluminum and aluminum alloy, copper and copper alloy and magnesium alloy.

There is a wide range of weldable metal thicknesses, with the thinest about 1mm and the thickest almost unlimited.

(5) The adaptability is also strong, and the welding efficiency is the highest when flat welding and horizontal welding.
