ZTE ZXMP S380 S390 SDH
ZXMP S390/S380 is developed in one platform. It can implement
smooth upgrade from ZXMP S380 to ZXMP S390 and from 2.5G to 10G. It
can transmit large-capacity and LH service. It is used for backbone
transmission network establishment/expansion and large-capacity
metro service dispatching to meet bandwidth demands in different
fields and at different levels.
Powerful cross
ZXMP S390 has the capability of 1024×1024 equivalent VC-4
high-order cross (160G), 20G low-order cross and 120G access. It
has 12 10G optical directions, with access capacity of 120G.
Multiservice access
ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 has multiple service interfaces, e.g.,
STM-64/16/4/1 optical interfaces; STM-1, E3/T3 and E1 electrical
interfaces; 10M/100M and 1000M Ethernet interfaces and ATM
interface. It has high-integration service interface board for
large-capacity service access.
And ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 provides extra data
interface via SOH overhead bytes as well as flexible overhead
channel add/drop mode. Auxiliary interfaces are on OW board and are
used for extra low-rate service. OW has 3 orderwire interfaces, 5
RS-232/422 interfaces and F1 64kbit/s data interface.
Good equipment and network protection
ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 adopts the hardware redundancy design
and dual-bus architecture. Cross board and clock board are in 1+1
hot backup to improve system reliability and stability. Dual power
distribution systems are employed to ensure the power supply
security. Functional boards employ the distributed power supply to
eliminate the inter-board power effect and reduce the influence of
hot plugging/unplugging on the system.
ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 can implement all network protections in ITU-T
to satisfy different networking demands from clients. These
protections are point-to-point or chain 1+1/1:1 line protection,
multi-fiber chain MS 1:N line protection, 2-fiber unidirectional
protection ring, 2-fiber bidirectional MS protecting ring, 4-fiber
bidirectional MS protecting ring, Dual-Node Interconnection
protection (DNI) and SubNet Connection Protection (SNCP). And it
can implement a new network protection —— logic subnet protection
on the basis of ITU-T recommendations.
Transparent overhead transmission
ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 supports transparent overhead transmission to
increase networking flexibility, resolve the problems caused by
fewer fibers, assure NM consistency and NM information continuity,
and uniformly manage subnets at different localities.
Adaptability to the existing fiber network
The existing fiber networks mostly use G.652 fiber, the dispersion
problem must be resolved for 10Gbit/s service on standard G.652
fiber. ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 has advanced dispersion management to
improve fiber adaptability, especially the adaptability to the
existing G.652 fiber network.
Excellent timing synchronization processing
ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 can select multiple timing sources as equipment
timing reference: external clock, clock extracting from STM-N
service interface and internal clock. Timing system has three
working modes: synchronous locking mode, hold-on mode and free-run
mode. The system supports synchronous priority switching and SSM
algorithm-based automatic switching. In the complex transmission
network, the SSM algorithm-based automatic switching can optimize
the timing synchronization distribution of the network to reduce
synchronization planning difficulty, avoid timing loop and assure
the network synchronization in the best status. And ZTE’s SDH
products have the patented S1 byte algorithm to raise and optimize
network synchronization.
Powerful RPR data features to support IP
evolution and protect CAPEX for the future
On the basis of the inherited MSTP advantages, RPR resolves some
problems about EOS rigid tunnel and low carrying efficiency for
high-convergence-ratio data service. It has bandwidth statistical
multiplexing and service awareness functions and offers
differential QOS. The embedded RPR solution makes full use of
equipment in the existing network to meet the recent increasing
demands for data service, reduce network construction cost and
protect CAPEX for the future network evolution.
Support mixed slot insertion and optimize equipment
configuration and network planning flexibly
When multiple rings is established flexibly, line boards can be
configured randomly without slot pair, and network configuration
and planning can be optimized easily to improve network
flexibility.
General design of service board to reduce the cost of
spare boards and parts
ZXMP S390/ZXMP S380 adopts the general design of service boards to
share spare boards and parts so as to reduce the cost.
