The OpitX RTN 950A is a new generation integrated microwave
transmission system developed by Huawei, which can be
installed easily and configured flexibly.
It supports the convergence of up to 10 radio links, and supports
multiple protection schemes. The OptiX RTN 950A provides a
generic platform for TDM/Hybrid/Packet/Routing microwave
transmission. The platform provide various service interfaces,
large bandwidth, and easy scalability. It provides a seamless
microwave transmission solution for mobile communication network
or private networks.
The OpitX RTN 950A adopts a modular chassis with 2 U height. It
belongs to Huawei RTN 900 split IP microwave series that consist of
an indoor unit (IDU) and an outdoor unit (ODU). The OpitX RTN 950A
provides six slots to flexibly support multiple service boards and
convergence of up to 10 radio directions.
The OptiX RTN 950A adopts a split structure. The system consists of
the IDU 950A and the ODU. Each ODU is connected to the IDU 950A
through an IF cable.
IDU 950A
The IDU 950A is the indoor unit for an OptiX RTN 950A system. It
receives and multiplexes services, performs service processing and
IF processing, and provides the system control and communications
function.
ODU
The ODU is the outdoor unit for the OptiX RTN 900. It converts
frequencies and amplifies signals.
