The main component of acid-resistant bricks is silica, which forms a large amount of mullite under high temperature calcination. This is a substance with high acid resistance. Product characteristics of acid-resistant bricks

Product application of acid-resistant bricks

According to the water absorption rate, it can be divided into three categories.
The water absorption rate of category 1 is not more than 0.5%, the water absorption rate of category 2 is not greater than 2.0%, and the water absorption rate of category 3 is not greater than 4.0%;

According to the working surface, it is divided into two types: glazed and unglazed, usually with a back pattern of 1mm or more.

The main physical performance requirements: the bending strength of the first type acid-resistant brick is not less than 39.2MPa, the acid resistance is not less than 99.8%, and the rapid cold and hot at 100℃ will not crack; the second type of acid-resistant brick is not less than 29.4MPa, Acid resistance is not less than 99.8%, 100°C rapid cooling and rapid heating will not crack once; Category 3 acid-resistant bricks have a bending strength not less than 19.6MPa, acid resistance not less than 99.7%, and 100°C rapid cooling and rapid heating will not crack once.

It is mainly used for the lining of reaction tower tanks, anti-corrosion vessels, trenches and other facilities whose temperature is lower than 100℃, acid-resistant floors and wall skirts, etc. It should not be too high when used on a vertical surface to prevent it from falling off.
