Common pe water pipe connection methods:
1. Hot-melt butt joint. The hot-melt butt joint of PE water supply
pipe is to use a hot-melt butt welding machine to heat the pipe

maintain a certain pressure, and achieve the purpose of welding
after cooling.
2. Electrofusion connection. The electrofusion connection of PE
water supply pipe is to put the electrofusion pipe fittings on the
pipes and pipe fittings, and heat the resistance wire embedded in
the inner surface of the electrofusion pipe fittings through the
electric fusion welding machine, and the heat generated will make
the inner surface of the electrofusion pipe fittings and the The
outer surface of the socketed pipe is melted and integrated to
achieve the purpose of welding.
3. Saddle docking. Connecting PE water supply pipes often
encounters the problem of branching the main pipe according to
actual needs during the application process. Traditional pipes must
first cut off a section of the main pipe, and then install a tee to
complete the branching. The construction is very cumbersome. For PE
pipes, saddle-shaped butt joints are used, that is, saddle-shaped
butt welding machines are used to directly connect a saddle-shaped
pipe fitting to the main pipe to complete the branching of the main
pipe. For main pipe taps with nominal outer diameter less than
DN200, electric fusion saddle bypass or straight-through can also
be used to carry out under the condition of water stop or non-stop
water supply.
4. Steel-plastic flange connection. When connecting PE water supply
pipes to steel pipes and valves, steel-plastic flanges should be
used: PE pipe ends and corresponding plastic support rings can be
connected by hot-melt butt joints, and the connection between steel
pipe ends and metal flanges should comply with the corresponding
