Description:
PE pipes use PE80 grade PE100 grade materials,
The caliber ranges from DN25 to DN800 and is divided into 24
grades.
The pressure level is between 0.4Mpa~1.6Mpa, a total of 6 levels
PE pipe is the replacement product of traditional steel pipe and
PVC drinking water pipe.
PE pipes must withstand a certain pressure, and PE resins with
large molecular weight and better mechanical properties are usually
selected.
The PE pipe will be melted at a temperature between 190°C and
240°C,
Fully contact the two melted parts of the pipe (or pipe fitting)
and maintain proper pressure, and the two can be firmly integrated
after cooling.
Therefore, the connection method of PE pipe:
There are usually two methods of electric hot melt connection and
hot melt butt joint.
According to the size of the pipe diameter, it can be divided into:
when DN≤63, the injection molding hot-melt socket connection is
adopted;
When DN ≥ 75, use hot-melt butt connection or electro-fusion socket
connection; when connecting with different materials, use flange or
thread connection.
In terms of pipeline repair methods, there are expansion pipe
construction method and lining PE method.

Application areas of PE water supply pipes
PE pipes are mainly used for:
Municipal engineering water supply system, building indoor water
supply system,
Outdoor buried water supply system and buried water supply system
of residential area and factory area,
Repair of old pipelines, water treatment engineering piping system,
Industrial water pipes in garden, irrigation and other fields.
However, it should be noted that PE pipes cannot be used for hot
water pipes.
