Metal Billet and Bar Induction Forging Machine With Automatic Feeding System

INDUCTION FORGING :

Induction forging is a process in which an induction heating system preheats metals and presses them into shape using a hammer or press.

First, it's important to understand that induction heating is a non-contact process that uses the main principles of electromagnetic induction in order to effectively produce heat. Electric current can flow through a material when it is placed in a strong alternative magnetic field; this causes Joule heating. With magnetic materials, the excess heat is generated below the Curie Point -- the Curie point is the temperature at which certain magnetic materials undergo a sharp change in their magnetic properties. The Curie point of iron, for example, is 770 degrees Celsius.

The depth of the generated current is determined by both the frequency of the alternating field as well as the material's permeability. Materials with high permeability (100–500) are easier to heat via induction heating. Iron and its alloys respond well to induction heating due to their ferromagnetic nature.

What's the induction forging temperature for different materials?

The temperature required for induction forging varies depending on the material being forged. For example, the temperature required for forging aluminum is around 700-800°C. The temperature required for forging brass is around 800-900°C. The temperature required for forging copper is around 900-1000°C. The temperature required for forging steel is around 1100-1250°C. The temperature required for forging stainless steel is around 1200-1300°C.

How to choose a suitable induction forging machine?

When choosing an induction forging machine, you should consider the following factors:

1. The type of material you will be forging.

2. The size of the material you will be forging.

3. The production rate you require.

4. The level of automation you require.

5. The level of precision you require.

There are many different types of induction forging machines available, each with its own set of features and capabilities. Some machines are designed for high-volume production, while others are better suited for low-volume or custom applications.

THE ADVANTAGES OF INDUCTION FORGING:

Induction forging has several advantages over traditional forging technologies. Induction heating can heat metal to its forging temperature much faster than traditional methods, such as gas or electric furnaces. This can lead to significant productivity gains. Another primary advantage of an induction forge is that you get non-contact heating. Since the heat transfers through electromagnetic waves, you are not exposed to any danger. Unlike a hot furnace, induction heating has a controlled heating area. Induction forging emits less pollution than standard heating techniques like gas or electric furnaces.

Applications of the induction forging machine:

Induction forging is widely used in the metal and foundry industries to heat billets, bars, and bar ends. Metals typically forged with induction systems include aluminum, brass, copper, steel, and stainless steel. Induction forging requires a compressive force applied to metal in hot, warm, or cold states. Billet and Bar induction forging machines are used in many industries including automotive, aerospace, and construction.

We have established an R&D system. It is supported by advanced engineers and professional workers, who are especially engaged in researching and developing the machinery of middle or high-frequency induction heating and high-frequency inverter electrolysis and galvanization power supply. Since we owned strong technique development capability, our factory has been insisting on producing new products and new craftwork to assure our leading position on technique in this field.

Under the effort of several years, our factory has produced a series of high-quality products in various categories. We can also exclusively produce these products on your requirement to meet your need. Our middle or high-frequency induction heating equipment is produced for special voltage conditions of some countries. For instance, there is single-phase 110V, three-phase 220V induction heating equipment for America and Japan and three-phase 415V, 440V induction heating equipment for such southwestern Asia countries as Malay and Thailand.
