Description of the Difference Between Immersion Gold PCB and Electric Gold PCB:

1.Gold plating: through electroplating, the gold particles are attached to the pcb board, so it is called electro-gold, because of its strong adhesion, it is also called hard gold, and the gold finger of the memory stick is hard gold, which is wear-resistant. with gold plating

Immersion gold: Through chemical reaction, gold particles crystallize and attach to the pads of PCB. Because of weak adhesion, it is also called soft gold.

2.Gold plating: Do this process before doing solder masking, because gold plating requires two electrodes, one is the pcb board, and the other is the cylinder tank. If the pcb board is finished with solder masking, it will not be able to conduct electricity, and it will not be able to be plated with gold

3.Immersion gold: After doing the solder mask, like immersion tin, the chemical method, where there is copper leakage, attach gold back.

Gold plating: Do it before doing the solder mask, after it is done, it is not easy to tin (because the plating is smooth)

4.Immersion gold: After solder resist, the patch is easy to tin (because the chemical reaction has a certain roughness)
