Introduction
Cutting Structure
Part of Tricone bits, both Steel Tooth Bits and TCI Bits are
available .
Gauge Structure
With active cutting gauge protection inserts on bit body, the bit
has good gauge protection and up drill capability.
Bearing Structure
High precision journal bearing. Balls lock the cone.Hardface heard
bearing surface. Cone bearing inlaid with friction-reducing alloy.
Abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the bearing are
improved. Compared with three cone bit, the leg bearing is bigger,
so it can receive higher WOB and high reliability.
Features
Through the special structure of the cone, equal wear on the
permanent contact area and alternating contact area of the drill
bit is achieved.
The optimized hydraulic structure improves the cleaning ability of
the hydraulic system to the cone and bottom of the well, and
ensures a high mechanical drilling speed.
By setting an active cutting cone ball gauge pressure block on the
head body, the drill bit has good protection performance and
improves its hole expanding ability.
Advantages
1. It has a wide range of applications, not only for side drilling,
but also for deep wells.
2. Under the same drilling pressure and formation conditions, the
working torque is lower than the PDC bit. The problem of expansion
and buckling of small-sized boreholes is reduced, and downhole
accidents are avoided.

Used in
Tri-cone bit is a decelerating bit. It is based on the fact that
the speed of the cone is less than the speed of the bit. It is
suitable for sidetracking of old wells and deepening of small
boreholes under high speed and high drilling pressure.
