Description

This 10GBASE-Bidi ZR is a hot pluggable 3.3V Small-Form-Factor transceiver module. It is designed expressly for long-reach communication applications that require rates up to 11.1Gb/s.

This bi-directional transceiver consists of a high performance class 1 laser safety 1490nm cooled EML and a high sensitivity 1550nm APD Photodiode integrated with a TIA. The maximum transmission distance is up to 80km over a standard G.652 single mode fiber.

This bidirectional transceiver module is fully compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and the IEEE 802.3ae standard.

Digital diagnostic functions are available through a 2-wire serial interface(DDMI), as specified in SFF-8472, which provides real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.

Featuring low power consumption and high speed, this 10G SFP+ transceiver is ideal for data center, 10G Ethernet, SONET OC-192/SDH and Fiber Channel etc.
