Product Overview

GN-1828 is a mutile-channel AVS/AVS+ encoding/transcoding device based on the totally new hardwar platform.

GN-1828 is capable of performing AVS/AVS+ video compression encoding and MEPG-1 L2/DRA audio encoding for 4 channels of video/audio signal from SDI input,and is capable of fully encoding/decoding function to perform HD/SD decoding and AVS/AVS+ SD re-encoding for unscrambled 4 channels H.264/MPEG-2/AVS/AVS+ stream from ASI/IP input. The TS streams after encoding or transcoding are multiplexed into one TS stream group and outputted through ASI/IP.

It supports 4 channels SD encoding or transcoding in encoding or transcoding mode.

Support 4 channels SD AVS/AVS+ video encoding/transcoding.
Support 4 channels A/V input or 4 channels SD SDI input(Optional A/V and SDI interface)
Support to transcode 4 channels MPEG-2/H.264/AVS/AVS+ HD/SD video and audio stream into AVS/AVS+ SD.
Support VBR.

Input resolution of transcoding:1 920x1080P50, 1920x1080P60, 1920x1080I50, 1920x1080I60, 1280x720P50, 1280x720P60, 720x576I, 720x480I.
Output resolution of encoding/transcoding: 720x576I.
Output audio sample rate: 48KHz.
Audio bitrate of MPEG-1 L2/DRA2.0: 80/96/112/128/160/192/224/256/320/384(Kbps).
Pluggable modular design, easy for upgrade and maintenance.
Support UDP/RTP/IGMP protocol.
Capable of configuring parameters and upgrading through web browser.
LCD to display/monitor system status and configure parameters locally in real time.
