Hot-dip galvanizing is a process of applying a protective zinc coating to a steel sheet or iron sheet, in order to prevent rusting. It is achieved by passing the Full Hard sheet which has undergone acid washing procedure and rolling process through a zinc pot, thereby applying zinc film to the surface. The resulting product, hot dipped galvanized steel sheet in coil (GI) has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to Zinc’s characteristic. GI steel coil process and specifications are basically the same as that of hot dipped galvanized steel coil.
