FRP Strength Member

 

Description:

 

FRP strength member (fiberglass reinforced plastic rod) is used as strength member in optical fiber cables. It serves dual purpose. Its tensile strength provides the cable protection during installation and its rigidity prevents cable buckling during the life of the cable.

 

 

Specification: Diameter is from 0.4mm to 5.0mm.

 

Tensile strength≥1400MPA

 

Product disruption: Nonmetallic reinforcements used for optical cables:glass fiber reinforced plastic rods

Appearance: The surface shall be free from oil, water, stain, scar, burrs and other defects. The surface should be uniform and smooth.
Environmental Performance: GFRP shall avoid the use of raw materials with limited substance components, and if they contain limited substance, ensure that their content limits are in accordance with the provisions of attached sheet 1.
