Sealing of fiber splice joint closure is very important in the actual project. Because the fiber surface is easy to produce micro cracks if there is water or moisture in the splice closure and the fiber will break for a long time, and the fiber splicing closure is directly buried underground mostly, so excellent sealing is necessary for the fiber splice joint closure.As for horizontal type, The sealing of fiber cable joint closure is mainly included two parts: the sealing between the optical cable and the closure,sealing between the upper and lower cover plates. Before sealing, it need to polish the cable outer sheath on the vertical axial with gauze, so that the cable and the sealing tape can be closer together and the sealing can be done better. The sealing between the upper and lower cover plates should pay attention to the sealing tape, it need to place evenly in the sealing groove and the screw should be tightly screwed without gap.

2, Corrosion resistance: with strong resistance to dilute acids, salts, oxidants, aliphatic hydrocarbons, etc..
