[Protection principle]
1. The materials used to filter particulate matter include mineral
fiber, natural fiber or synthetic fiber. The filtering mechanism of

2. Settling action: large particles will settle on the filter
material under the influence of gravity in the air flow and be
separated from the air flow.
3. Inertial impact: When the particles in the air flow bypass the

4. Intercepting effect: particles are located on the streamline

5. Diffusion: under the influence of the thermal movement of air
molecules, extremely small particles are impacted by air molecules,
constantly changing the direction of movement, showing Brownian
motion, and are filtered by contacting the filter material fibers
randomly.
6. Electrostatic effect: If the filter material fiber has weak
static electricity, no matter whether the particles in the air flow
itself have static electricity or not, when they are close to the
filter material fiber, they will be easily attracted by static
electricity and filtered down. The electrostatic effect can help
the filter material improve the filtering efficiency without
increasing the air flow resistance.
