QUEUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The concept of queue management system is to ease the customer’s perils at places like banks hospital, airline railway ticket office, public service halls etc., where large number of people gather for related services.
The customer upon arrival at the designated place collects queue
ticket from a ticket vending machine by pressing appropriate button
relating to the service required such as drafts in a bank,
reservation in an Airline/Railway office, OPD in a hospital and
many other public utilities.
The queue number is automatically entered in sequence of arrival.
The customer can then be seated comfortably and wait for his / her
token number to be called. At the counters rooms the attending
staff is fed the token numbers sequentially. He / she presses the
designated key to call
the waiting customer from the queue. The called queue number and
counter number are displayed on the main display and counter
display. The number blinks and the buzzer is activated to call for
the attention of the customer. The customer having the displayed
queue number can
then proceed to counter for the desired service.
