Precautions during fermentation:

 

Particle size of raw materials: the particle size of pig manure and auxiliary raw materials should be below 10mm, otherwise it needs to be crushed;

 

Suitable material moisture: the optimum fermentation humidity of composting microorganisms is 50 ~ 60%, and the ultimate humidity is 60 ~ 65%, so it is best to adjust the material moisture to about 55 ~ 60%. However, when the moisture content reaches above 65%, there is a higher probability that the dead tank will not ferment.

 

Method of adjusting material moisture: the moisture content of livestock manure such as fermented pig manure and chicken manure should be controlled between 55 and 65%.

 

Moisture judgment: hold a handful of pig manure tightly, and see the watermark on the fingers without dripping water. It is better to scatter when landing. Less water, slow fermentation, more water, poor ventilation, therefore, we must grasp the water content. If the moisture is too high, straw, sawdust, mushroom residue, dry soil powder and so on can be added.
