The commonly used welding method for stainless steel welded pipes
is manual welding (MMA), followed by metal arc welding (MIG/MAG)
and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG).
Welded pipes with a wall thickness of less than 4mm do not need to
make a break, they are directly welded, and one side is welded
through at one time. Butt welds with a thickness of 4 to 6 mm can
be welded on both sides without opening the joint.
Above 6mm, generally open V or U, X-shaped groove.
Welded pipe butt weldments and filler wires are degreased and
descaled to ensure welding quality.
