Rubber Tyred Container Gantry Crane, or RTG crane for short, is a type of gantry crane used in intermodal operations to load and unload intermodal containers from trains, trucks or ships. Unlike traditional rail mounted gantry cranes, the RTG crane moves on rubber tyres and do not require any rail infrastructure. They are capable of handling up to 6 containers per hoist cycle and can stack up to 6 containers high.Rubber tyre container gantry crane applies to international standard container transporting, loading and unloading at the container yard and railway container depots, with stable performance, high efficiency and ease maintenance having proper safety instructions and overload protection devices to maximizely ensure the safety of operational personnel and equipment.
