Use Host DNA/RNA Removal Kit for mNGS Library Preparation in Swabs (IVDR Certified) to remove host DNA in alveolar lavage samples. Microbial DNA obtained with BunnyMag Body Fluids Microbiome DNA Isolation Kit entered the mNGS process with excellent quality control performance.

Z microbial standards were used as test samples into 5 alveolar lavage samples. Host DNA was removed by Host DNA/RNA Removal Kit for mNGS Library Preparation in Swabs (IVDR Certified) and Zymo similar product and microbial DNA was extracted. Also, library preparation and sequencing were completed. Compared with no host removal, this product was able to efficiently remove host DNA and significantly improve the detection of microorganisms.
