Host Removal Kit for mNGS Library Preparation in Biological Fluid Sample and Swabs

This kit is designed for rapid and efficient purification of plasmid DNA from 1 to 5 mL of E. coli culture, with a maximum yield of 30 μg. is This kit used to reduce the endotoxin level of plasmid DNA to lower than 10 EU/μg. The purified plasmid DNA is ready for downstream applications such as transfection of endotoxin-sensitive cell lines, primary cultured cells or microinjection. Z microbial standards were used as test samples into 5 alveolar lavage samples. Host DNA was removed by Host Removal Kit for mNGS Library Preparation in Biological Fluid Sample and Swabs and Zymo similar product and microbial DNA was extracted. Also, library preparation and sequencing were completed. Compared with no host removal, this product was able to efficiently remove host DNA and significantly improve the detection of microorganisms.
