Description:
This plant owns the advantages of normal temperature MS purifying and boosting expansion process, such as the process is simple, and the operation and maintenance is convenient. The DCS collecting-distributed system is adopted, the switchover loss is small, hydrocarbons are removed thoroughly, the operation safety of air separation plant is high, and the continuous operation period is more than two years, etc.
The pure argon is produced through
cryogenic rectification, and the crude argon column and pure argon
column are structural packing columns. In order to reduce the
height of cold box, the crude argon column is divided into two
sections in structurally, and circulating liquid argon pump is used
to supply reflux liquid for crude argon column. The technology of
complete rectification without hydrogen to produce argon is
adopted, therefore a complete set of purification facility and
hydrogen production equipment is cancelled, which simplifies the
process, saves the investment, operation cost, and energy
consumption of producing hydrogen, and improves the extraction
efficiency of argon as well.
