Steps

1 Prepare materials and disinfect the puncture site as usual. Hold the needle correctly and choose the appropriate needle insertion angle to puncture the vein.

Pull the stylet out of the catheter. Proper use of the "V"-shaped technique can play a role in hemostasis and fixation.
