The classification of the shaft
Classification: Shaft parts according to the characteristics of its
structure shape, can be divided into optical shaft, ladder shaft,
hollow shaft and special-shaped shaft (including crankshaft,
camshaft and eccentric shaft, etc.) four categories
Optical shaft: hollow shaft, half shaft, ladder shaft, spline
shaft, cross shaft, eccentric shaft, crankshaft, convex shaft
If the shaft length and diameter of the proportion to points, can
be divided into rigid axis (L/d < 12 = and flexible axis (L/d
> 12) two categories
Material and blank of shaft parts
Reasonable selection of materials and stipulating the technical
requirements of heat treatment are of great significance to improve
the strength and service life of shaft parts. At the same time, it
has a great influence on the machining process of shaft.
1. Material of shaft parts
Generally, 45 steel is commonly used for shaft parts. According to
different working conditions, different heat treatment
specifications (such as normalizing, tempering, quenching, etc.)
are adopted to obtain certain strength, toughness and wear
resistance.
For medium precision and high speed shaft parts, 40Cr alloy steel
can be selected. This kind of steel has higher comprehensive
mechanical component energy after quenching and tempering. The
shaft with higher precision is sometimes made of bearing steel
GCrls and spring steel 65Mn, which have higher wear resistance and
fatigue resistance after tempering and surface quenching.
For the shaft working under high speed and heavy load conditions,
20CrMnTi, 20Cr and other low carbon gold containing steel or
38CrMoAIA nitride steel can be selected. After carburizing and
quenching treatment, low carbon alloy steel has very high surface
hardness, impact toughness and core strength, but the heat
treatment deformation is very small.
2. Blank of shaft parts
Shaft parts of the blank is the most commonly used round bar and
forgings, only some large, complex structure of the shaft is used
to cast
Preprocessing of shaft parts
Wheel parts should be pre-machined before cutting. Pre-machining
includes calibration, cutting and cutting end faces and drilling
center holes.
1, correction: correction bar blank in the process of
manufacturing, transportation and storage of bending deformation,
in order to ensure uniform processing allowance and reliable
feeding clamping. Calibration can be performed on various presses.
2, cut off: when the bar blank is used, it should be cut off
according to the required length before turning the outer circle.
The cutting can be done on a saw machine, and the cutting of high
hardness bar can be done on a cutting machine with a wafer grinding
wheel.
3, cutting end drilling center hole: the center hole is the most
commonly used positioning datum for shaft parts processing. In
order to ensure that the center hole drilled is not skewed, the end
face should be cut before drilling the center hole.
4, coarse car: if the shaft blank is made of forgings or large
castings, it is necessary to process the blank car, in order to
reduce the shape error of the blank foreign surface, so that the
processing allowance of the subsequent process is even.
