AGM Lead Acid Battery Description:

Champion produces deep cycle batteries for solar power systems :

1. High purity raw material: ensure low self discharge rate
2. Using oxygen recombination technology: maintenance-free
3. ABS material: increase the strength of battery container. (Flame-retardant ABS is optional)
4. Lower acid density, excess of electrolyte and larger distance between plates to keep battery at low temperature and slow down plate grid corrosion speed
5. Special vent valve design: control water losing, prevent air and spark going inside

Feature:
1). Electrolyte: Be immobilized in the cell through the use of fumed silica gel agent or absorbed in the separators and plates. The cells shall have no residual free or bulk liquid electrolyte.
2). Lead : high purity lead, >99.994%
3). Separators: Made of fiberglass. Be porous to electrolyte but electrically insulating.
4). Container & Cover: containers and covers shall be made of a high impact, flame-retardant ABS plastic
5). Terminal: Terminal posts shall be cast in lead or lead alloy and have a copper core insert.
6). Valve: The valve operate at the pressure limits specified. The valve will not allow ingress of outside air into the unit.
