WHY AC SYSTEMS NEED FLUSHING

When air conditioner parts are being replaced on your vehicle, you may hear the term “AC system flush” come up, either as a general industry practice, or at a shop where you are getting the repair. The AC system is a closed, self-contained system composed of 2 things – refrigerant, which is what makes the system have its cooling properties, and oil, needed to properly lubricate the system’s compressor – the only moving part.
