Description

YOPHY variable ND filter is a versatile and flexible tool, affording you the convenience of using several neutral density filters all in one. Primarily used as a photographic tool for controlling depth of field and exposure. 

VND filter operates on the same principle as a circular polarizer rotate until you reach your desired effect and shoot. It allows you to have continuous control over the amount of light coming through your lens in a usual, approximate range of  ND2(1 f-stop) to ND32 (5+ f-stops) while maintaining the integrity of your image. By rotating the front element of a variable ND filter you can select and change the amount of light exposure you want, with just the one filter.

It only reduces the intensity of the light, so it does not affect the color of the final image, nor does it affect the white balance and automatic exposure of the camera. The use of ND mirrors will not have any effect on the color and contrast of the subject. In addition, since DSLR cameras are used to measure light through the lens, the ND mirror does not have any effect on the camera's automatic exposure system.

 

Key features

1. Reduce the amount of light entering the lens and decrease the shutter speed extending exposure time.

2. Select the intensity from ND2 (1 f-stop) to ND32 (5+ f-stops) by rotating the front ring.

3. Nearly zero distortion when the light goes through this HD filter.

4. All Materials used in this filter complied with the EU RoHS Regulation.

5. Eliminate polarized light rays, increase color saturation, and remove unwanted reflection from non-metallic surfaces, such as glass or water.


Note: The evenly spaced indexing marks between MIN and MAX do not represent calibrated stops. They are for reference only, to be used as a density bench-mark to return to a previous setting.
