1.Application: This machine is mainly used to produce large section and large
length steel cored aluminum strand and aluminum alloy wire without
untwisting; It can also be used for non untwisting twisting and
pressing of copper round and aluminum sector wire cores.
2.Overview of equipment composition
The whole machine is driven by separate motors. Each section of the
hinge and traction is driven by a separate motor, and the hinge is
driven to rotate through a special gear box. The control of the
whole machine adopts Siemens S7-200 series PLC to ensure
synchronization accuracy. In actual production, the operator can
set the process parameters such as the pitch of each section of the
stranding body and the speed of the production line on the touch
screen according to the cable specifications to be produced, and
automatically calculate the speed of each transmission part and
control the paying off tension through PLC when starting up, so as
to ensure the synchronization of the whole machine and the accuracy
of the stranding pitch, and realize the stepless speed regulation
of the whole machine.
Using digital quantity to detect wire breakage can accurately judge
the wire breakage signal of any coil in each section of the hinge,
and display which section and coil is broken on the touch screen of
the main console, so that the accuracy and accuracy of wire
breakage detection can be significantly improved and the detection
accuracy can be ensured.
Pneumatic proportional valve controller is used for the reel
tension of each section of the winch to automatically calculate and
track the reel diameter and adjust the reel tension to ensure the
stability of the reel tension. The tension proportional coefficient
can also be manually adjusted in the touch screen when starting up.
Siemens S7-200 series PLC and collective PROFINET fieldbus are used
for unified control of the whole machine operation to coordinate
the working state, operation and speed control of all parts of the

- The whole machine is driven by motor, and each section of winch and

- The reel tension of each section of the winch adopts a pneumatic

- For the hanging operation of each section of the winch, an AC motor
is used to drive the winch to rotate through a high speed ratio

converter, which is controlled by bus.
- The control power supply of the machine adopts UPS uninterruptible
power supply to ensure that it will not lose control in case of
power failure. All frequency converters are connected by common DC
bus to realize load sharing. At the same time, traction flywheel is
equipped to ensure that the cable will not be over twisted in case
of power failure.
- The machine adopts imported Siemens S7-200 programmable controller
and PROFINET field bus to command and coordinate the electrical
working state of all parts of the machine, and uses frequency
converter to control the starting and operation of AC motor.
Siemens color touch screen is used to set and display various
process parameters. The electric control system has advanced
technology, convenient operation and reliable operation.
