The AB 1771-P7 is a stand-alone 16A AC Power Supply. It comes with input voltage/current of 120V AC at 2.0A, 220V AC at 1.0A with a respective input voltage range of 120V AC: 97132V and 220V AC: 195264V. The 1771-P7 has a real/apparent input power of 108 Watts/176VA with a frequency range of 4763Hz. Its maximum output current is 16A max at 5V DC and its output voltage is 5.06V ±3.8%.

The 1771-P7 Power Supply is an external power supply. Before installing, set the configuration jumper on the I/O chassis to the N position. It can be attached to a panel-mounted I/O chassis by sliding it onto the left side. If mounted separately, it requires a minimum vertical distance of 6 inches. Take note to mount above or next to the chassis only, to allow convection cooling. The 1771-P7 can power one 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, -A3B1, or -A4B I/O chassis when used with an adapter or programmable controller that does not have an internal power supply. It works with the PLC-5 family of processors and Mini-PLC-2 /02, /05, /16, and /17. This is not compatible with the 1771-A1, -A2, or -A4 I/O chassis. And it is not designed for parallel connection –this may result in damage due to unexpected machine operation or processor memory loss.
