Compared to many other materials, polyethylene pipe and fittings
are lightweight and easy to handle. They have good elasticity,
flexibility and impact resistance.
However, PE pipes and fittings may be scratched by sharp edges and
may deform under load, especially at higher temperatures and
pressures.
Therefore, in general, PE pipes and fittings should not be blocked,
dented, crushed or compacted, and should not be subjected to rough
handling during loading and unloading operations.
