2. Chloramphenicol Rapid Test Strip Brief

This product is used for testing Chloramphenicol in milk sample (pure milk and fresh milk) and goat’s milk sample qualitatively. The whole test procedure only need 13min, easy to operate with high sensitivity.

5. Principle

The Chloramphenicol rapid test dipstick is based on competitive inhibition immuno-chromatographic principle. In the flow process, Chloramphenicol in the sample combined with Chloramphenicol specific colloidal gold-labeled monoclonal antibody, Inhibit the combination between antibody and Chloramphenicol-BSA conjugate on Test line of NC membrane, lead to the color change of Test line. When the sample has no Chloramphenicol residue or concentration lower than detection limit, T line is darker than C line.When the concentration is equal to or higher than detection limit, T line is obviously lighter than C line or T line has no color or T line has same color with C line. No matter whether there is Chloramphenicol residue in sample, C line will appear, it means the test is valid.

6. Operation process

6.1 Please read the manual carefully before use. Return the test dipstick and sample to room temperature.
6.2 Take the required bottles from the kit, take out the required micropores and dipsticks, and mark them appropriately. Please use these test strips within 1 hour. Seal the cap to avoid moisture.
6.3 Take 200ul of the sample to be tested in the microwell, absorb it 5 times, and mix the sample with the reagent in the microwell until it is judged by the naked eye that there is no solid (this is a very important step).
6.4 (40±2℃) incubate for 3min, insert the test paper into the microwell, and completely immerse the “MAX” end into the mixed solution.
6.5 Insert the test strip into the microwell for 10 minutes to read the result, other time is invalid.

8. Matters needing attention

1) The test strip can only be used once at room temperature, do not use expired test strips.
2) After taking out the required test strips, please seal the bottle. If you cannot use all 8 microwells at once, return the remaining cups to the bottle and seal.
3) Do not touch the white film surface in the middle of the test card, avoid direct sunlight and direct fan blowing.
4) The milk sample should be completely liquid without any clumping and sedimentation.
5) Use the test strip again for a positive result.

9. Specificity

Tests 500ppb sulfonamides, quinolones and tetracyclines. All results were negative.

10. Storage and expiration date

Storage: 2-8 ℃ dark, sealed, dry place, not frozen.
Expiry date: 12 months; production date is on the box.
