Aluminum Swing Doors:
The six main properties of aluminum alloy swing door include:
1. Thermal insulation, i.e. K value 2, water tightness 3, air
tightness 4, daylighting 5, wind pressure resistance 6, sound
insulation and noise reduction
1, What is the K value of doors and windows?
Concept: K value is also called heat transfer coefficient, which
used to be called total heat transfer coefficient. The current
national standards and specifications are uniformly named heat
transfer coefficient. The value of heat transfer coefficient K
refers to that under stable heat transfer conditions,
The air temperature difference on both sides of the enclosure is 1
degree (k, ℃). The unit of heat transferred through 1 square meter
area within 1 hour is watt / square meter • degree (w / ㎡ • K).
Heat transfer coefficient K of various door and window materials (w
/ m2 • K)
Ordinary aluminum alloy profile: 6.6 heat insulation aluminum alloy
profile: 4.0 wooden window frame: 1.8 5mm white glass: 5.5 (5 12a
5) mm medium blank glass: 2.8 (5 9A 5) mm medium blank glass: 3.0
(5 6A 5) mm medium blank glass: 3.2
Simple calculation method of K value of doors and windows (air
tightness is not considered)
In general doors and windows, the area of profile accounts for
about 25%, and the area of glass accounts for about 75%. The heat
transfer coefficient K of various doors and windows is simply
calculated as:
Ordinary aluminum alloy profile doors and windows: k = 6.6 × 25%
2.8 × 75% = 3.75 heat insulation aluminum alloy profile doors and
windows: k = 4.0 × 25% 2.8 × 75%=3.10
2, What is the water tightness of aluminum alloy swing door?
Watertight performance refers to the ability of closed external
doors and windows to prevent rainwater leakage under the
simultaneous action of wind and rain.
3, What is the air tightness of aluminum alloy swing door?
Air tightness refers to the ability of the outer door to prevent
air penetration when it is closed. This index is one of the three
basic physical properties of doors and windows.
4, What is the daylighting of aluminum alloy swing door?
Concept: daylighting refers to the brightness of light and
sunshine. Daylighting coefficient: refers to the ratio of the area
of the window opening of the house to the floor area of the house.
In general building doors and windows, the area of profile accounts
for about 25%, and the area of glass accounts for about 75%,
5, What is the wind pressure resistance of aluminum alloy swing
door?
Concept: wind pressure resistance refers to the ability of the
closed outer door to avoid damage and dysfunction under the action
of wind pressure. This index is an important one of the three basic
physical properties of doors and windows.
The wind pressure resistance performance of doors and windows shall
be designed in accordance with the relevant requirements of load
code for the design of building structures (GB 50009).
6, What is the sound insulation and noise reduction of aluminum
alloy swing door?
The sound insulation performance of doors and windows refers to the
ability of doors and windows to weaken the sound transmission from
the sound source to the listener. At present, there are no
mandatory requirements for sound insulation performance of doors
and windows in national standards and industrial standards.
