Measure theory

The electromagnetic flowmeters, can detect flow by using Faraday's Law of induction. Inside a magnetic flow meter, there is an electromagnetic coil, that generates a magnetic field, and the electrodes that capture electromotive force (voltage).

 

Description

Our new generation electromagnetic flow transmitter, with rugged, robust energy calculator that is ideal for commercial and industrial installations with a wide range of communication possibilities. It fulfils the IP67 requirements guarantee that the meter is resistant to dust, humidity and water, ensuring that no matter how hostile the conditions, the meter will continue accurately measuring.

The calculator can be read remotely using a wide variety of communication methods, some of which are in-built such as pulsed output and 4 analogue outputs.

It is a high end thermal energy calculator for industrial applications. Effectively protected against dust and humidity and backlit display. A wide range of built-in functions makes this energy meter a single box solution.

Remote type means the transmitter and converter display are mounted in different locations, it’s suggested to select
remote type in the following conditions:

  • Ambient temperature or converter display sunshine temperature is over 60 ℃
  • High humidity or corrosive air existed
  • Serious pipe vibration
  • Magnetic meter need be suspended or submersible, uneasily read out

How to use the magnetic flow meter

The ElectroMagnetic flowmeters measure the velocity of conductive liquids in pipes, such as water, acids, caustic, and slurries. Magnetic flowmeters can measure properly when the electrical conductivity of the liquid is greater than approximately 5μS/cm. Be careful because using magnetic flowmeters on fluids with low conductivity, such as deionized water, boiler feed water, or hydrocarbons, can cause the flowmeter to turn off and measure zero flow.
