Ultrasonic Level Meter
PT124B-607 is the latest professionally manufactured universal integrated ultrasonic level meter. It takes advantage of its own and domestic and international level meter to achieve full digitization, data transmission and human-machine communication functions. The main chip adopts imported industrial-grade single-chip microcomputer, digital temperature compensation and ultra-wide voltage input regulator. Has strong anti-interference ability. You can arbitrarily set the upper and lower limit nodes and online output adjustment. It can choose analog, and RS485 output. Interface to related facilities is convenient. Working principle
Ultrasonic level transmitter are mostly used for continuity measurement, mainly using the principle that sound waves hit the liquid surface to generate reflected waves, and measure the time required from the emitted wave to the time when the reflected wave returns. In practical applications, the ultrasonic level meter is vertically installed on the liquid surface. When the ultrasonic level meter works, it will emit an ultrasonic pulse to the liquid surface. After a period of time, the sensor of the ultrasonic level meter will be connected to the liquid surface. The returned signal is based on the time difference between the ultrasonic level meter transmitting and receiving the ultrasonic wave, so as to calculate the distance from the liquid surface to the sensor, and the specific height of the liquid level can be calculated. In the above working principle, the speed of sound in the medium is c, the time difference between the echo and the transmitted pulse is t, and then the distance D between the sensor and the object surface is calculated according to the formula D = c × t / 2. Please understand the measurement principle of the ultrasonic level meter in combination with the following figure. The calculation formula is: L = E-D, where E is the empty tank distance, F is the range (full tank distance), L is the material level, BD is the measurement blind zone, and D The distance from the sensor housing plane to the liquid surface.

 

 
Attention
In the application process of the ultrasonic level meter, the following matters need attention:
1. If measure corrosive media, please choose an ultrasonic level meter with anti-corrosion probe;
2. if measure flammable and explosive media, please choose an ultrasonic level meter with explosion-proof performance;
3. Generally, the ultrasonic level meter is not suitable for mediums with large temperature change spans and large uneven liquid levels;
4, because the propagation of ultrasonic waves requires a medium, the ultrasonic level meter cannot be used in a vacuum
environment;
5. Both steam and dust will hinder the sound wave transmission of the ultrasonic level meter to some extent and affect the measurement effect. Therefore, the ultrasonic level meter cannot be used if there are many steam and dust conditions.
