What are the different types of electrical steel?

electrical steel and grain-oriented (GO) electrical steel. NO steel
is widely used in rotating electrical machines (e.g., motors and
generators) in which the magnetization direction is rotated in the
sheet plane.
What grade is electrical steel?
For all practical purposes, AK Steel Electrical Steels, from grades
M-15 to M-47, are nonoriented materials. In other words, their
magnetic properties with respect to the direction of rolling are
primarily random.
