Information
Wire thread inserts are incorporated into softer metallic materials
to give them steel-like thread performance. This has enabled
industries to use lighter weight materials such as aluminum without
having to give up thread strength of their fasteners.
Advantage
1. Extend the service life: Because the wire thread insert is made
of stainless steel, it has high hardness, which increases the life
of the softer base part by tens to hundreds of times.
2. Enhance the thread connection strength: applied to soft and
low-strength alloy materials such as aluminum and magnesium, which
can effectively enhance the thread connection strength.
3. Enlarge the bearing surface: it can be used for thin machine
parts that require a strong connection but cannot increase the
diameter of the screw hole.
Fourth, improve the connection conditions, increase the bearing
capacity and fatigue strength of the threaded connection.
5. Anti-rusting: Avoid the loss of replacing expensive
substrates due to rusting of threaded holes that cannot be
