FAQ
1, What do your palisade security fences look like?
The palisade fences come in a wide variety of sizes, in general,
the domestic fence would look like the image below. Always
remembering that industrial palisade fencing is thicker and more
robust than the domestic fence.
2, How long will it take to install a fence?
That would depend on the terrain, the ground (rocks) and
shrubbery/bushes/trees that need to be removed. What would hamper
the installation is removing existing paving and fences. In general
(if the terrain is level and workable) we would be able to install
around 15 to 25 running meters per day.
3, How secure are the main posts and pales?
The main posts are sunk 600mm into the ground then concreted. The
cross bars and pales are secured with snap off nuts that make it
virtually impossible to loosen with spanners. If pales need
removing (which should never be the case) an angle grinder would
have to be used.
4, Do your fences and gates rust?
No, the fences do not rust, the hot dip galvanizing ensures
complete rust protection, thus improving the life span of the fence
or gate.
5, How secure are palisade fences, are they easily climbed?
The palisade fences are extremely difficult to climb and gain
foot-hold, vandalize or damage due to the posts been concreted and
the positioning of the angled cross bars. Additional benefits of
these fences are the sharp pales and the narrow spacing between the
pales (120mm between pales) making them extremely difficult to
climb.
