The quality of copper single wire production is a matter of great
concern to all cable manufacturers, because the quality and
efficiency of wire drawing directly affect the production process
of subsequent processes, and play a pivotal role in the quality of
cables. In the production of wire drawing machines The following
problems often arise.
Precise control of product outer diameter deviation
Due to the uninterrupted production of copper wire drawing
equipment, the speed of wire drawing will gradually become out of
sync with annealing. During wire drawing, due to the fast and slow
pulling speed, the wire diameter will appear intermittent and
irregular. The reasons for this phenomenon are as follows:
1. The tension on the wire storage wheel is unstable, and the
production workshop may use air pressure in many places, which will
cause the air pressure of the air pump of the wire drawing machine
to be high and small, which also makes the tension of the wire
storage device unstable. The speed of the wire drawing is constant,
which makes the pulling force on the wire drawing also
non-constant, which can cause the deviation of the outer diameter
of the single wire to be unable to be accurately controlled.
2. The jitter of the copper wire on the annealing wheel, which
makes the copper wire annealed in a state of being loose and tight,
and the current density of annealing is sometimes large and small,
while the strength of the copper wire at higher speeds is
relatively low, Therefore, it is easy to cause the copper wire to
ignite on the annealing wheel, so that the surface of the copper
wire is uneven in diameter due to the action of the spark.
3. The wear and tear caused by the long-term use of the gear box of
the main motor can make the speed of the constant speed wheel of
the drawing do not match the traction speed and the speed of the
take-up, thereby forming the thinning of the monofilament.
