Description

 

The vertical mill, also known as roller mill, is widely used in large-scale material grinding and ultra-fine grinding processing in cement chemical industry, coal, power and other industries. 【Working Principle】

In the process of pulverized coal production, the main motor drives the grinding plate to rotate through the reducer, while the hot air enters the vertical mill from the air inlet, and the raw coal falls to the center of the grinding plate through the blanking pipe. The grinding plate that rotates at a constant speed disperses and flattens the raw coal outward with the help of centrifugal force, so as to form a bed with a certain thickness. The raw coal is rolled and crushed by several grinding rollers on the grinding plate at the same time. Under the continuous drive of centrifugal force, the raw coal continuously moves towards the outer edge of the grinding plate. When the powder leaving the grinding plate meets the hot gas entering the mill through the wind ring and rises, it enters the separator through the middle shell of the mill. During this process, the pulverized coal and the hot gas have sufficient heat exchange, and the water is rapidly evaporated. The powder concentrator controls the particle size of finished products at the outlet of the roller mill. Particles larger than the specified size are separated and returned to the grinding plate. The pulverized coal meeting the fineness requirements enters the dust collector through the powder concentrator, and the collected finished products are sent to the finished product bin.

Scheme introduction

HVM vertical mill can produce both coarse powder and ultra-fine powder. It can produce materials with different product fineness requirements, ranging from 2-5mm coarse powder (such as shale for grinding brick raw materials in the new wall material industry, sand making in the construction industry, etc.) to ultra-fine powder with a passing rate of 97% (such as heavy calcium powder in the paper industry, and ultra-fine activated carbon powder in the chemical industry) with a passing rate of 15 microns. The product fineness adjustment is highly arbitrary and widely applicable.

 

Solution

For the production of coarse powder, when selecting the type of vertical mill, it is necessary to adopt the structure of powder concentrator with small resistance and anti-wear, rather than the one with large blade density and complex rotor structure, which causes unnecessary investment and increased production and maintenance costs. At the same time, due to the large number of particles, necessary anti-wear treatment and structural design of the powder concentrator should be done to achieve reasonable powder separation output and energy consumption;

For the production of ultra-fine powder, when selecting the type of vertical mill, it is necessary to focus on the design and optimization of the powder concentrator. Because of the large powder selection resistance at this time, it is necessary to strictly control the fineness, and prevent large particles from running out, excessive wear of blades, and large abnormal vibration caused by large resistance in the mill. Therefore, for materials with different product fineness requirements, it is necessary to calculate and analyze the material and gas flow in the vertical mill, especially in the powder concentrator, according to the characteristics of the materials, so as to determine the reasonable structure of the powder concentrator (such as the form of the rotor, the number and angle of blades, and the number and angle of stationary blades), At the same time, necessary auxiliary means should be taken to control (such as using a sealing fan for gas sealing to effectively control the large particles to run rough).
