Description
Working principle of pneumatic ash conveying system with silo pump
The pneumatic ash conveying system is a widely used pneumatic
conveying engineering system. It is a commonly used conveying
system in the power plant industry, metallurgical industry, and
other industries.
Feeding stage: The feeding valve is in an open state, and the primary inlet and
outlet valves are closed. The upper part of the bin pump is
connected to the ash hopper, and the fly ash captured by the dust
collector freely falls into the bin pump with the help of gravity.
When the ash level reaches the upper limit of the ash level, the
material level meter sends a full signal, or when the system
feeding setting time is set, the feeding valve is closed, and the
feeding stage ends.
Fluidization and pressurization stage: After the feeding stage is completed, the system automatically
opens the inlet valve once. The processed compressed air enters the
fluidization cone at the bottom of the bin pump through the flow
control valve, and the air passing through the fluidization cone
evenly surrounds each fly ash particle. At the same time, the
pressure inside the bin pump increases. When the pressure reaches
the point where the pressure sensor sends a signal, the system
automatically opens the discharge valve, and the pressurized
fluidization stage ends.
Delivery stage:
The discharge valve and secondary inlet valve are opened. At this
time, the bin pump continues to intake air while feeding the
gas-ash mixture into the ash conveying pipe through the discharge
valve. The fly ash is always in a state of fluidization and
entering the conveying pipeline for transportation. After the fly
ash in the bin pump is transported, the pipeline pressure drops,
and the pressure inside the bin pump decreases. When the pressure
inside the bin pump drops to the point where the pressure sensor
sends a signal, the conveying stage ends, and the inlet and outlet
valves remain open, Enter the blowing phase.

Application Area
