Aluminum knitted wire mesh is produced from monofilament or multifilament aluminum wire by special weaving machines, knitted into a seamless and continuous tubular form. Aluminum knitted wire mesh can be create very high levels of electromagnetic shielding performance, so it is widely used in the EMI & RFI shielding applications.
BLUE-STAR WIRE MESH can offer aluminum knitted wire mesh in the standard specifications, opening sizes range from 3 mm x 3 mm to 10 mm x 10 mm, while wire diameter ranges from 0.13 mm to 0.30 mm, and the manufactured width is between 100 mm and 500 mm. The standard wire materials are Grade 5056 aluminum alloy.

3. Aluminum knitted wire mesh materials
Aluminum knitted wire mesh is available in two series of different wire materials:
Pure aluminum series: Grade 1050 (DIN Al99.5), Grade 1060 (DIN Al99.6), Grade 1100 (DIN Al99.0Cu)
Aluminum alloy series: Grade 5052 (DIN AlMg2.5), Grade 5056 (DIN AlMg5), Grade 5083 (DIN AlMg4.5)

Usage of aluminum knitted wire mesh includes:
In the EMI & RFI shielding applications, for elastomer cores and cable wrap.
In the aerospace applications, for a part of the aircraft under wing door panel as a seal.
In the filtration & separation applications, for the screen of the demister pads and range hood screen.
