Iso Concrete Fixing Bolts , Stainless Steel Wedge Anchor Bolts Round Head
1. Description:
wedge anchors, also called Wedge anchor,Through bolt,Expansion bolt,Bolt anchor,Stainless steel wedge anchor,Stainless steel through bolt.Concrete wedge anchors' design allows them to anchor fixtures into concrete. Concrete wedge anchors work by inserting them into a hole drilled into concrete. The concrete wedge anchor is then expanded, wedging itself securely in the concrete. They are for use in solid concrete and consist of an anchor body, expansion clip and a nut and washer. The anchor body is threaded, and can be installed by inserting it into a predrilled hole in the concrete. The hole required for all wedge anchors is equal to the diameter of the wedge anchor being installed. Wedge anchors are manufactured by a number of different companies, with each manufacturer having a brand name associated with their anchor. The choice to use any particular wedge anchor comes down to specific requirements for the job and price. Some of the different requirements used in seismic environment or simply personal preference

3. Product Features:
Applications
The anchor is made from 304 Stainless Steel. This anchor is
designed for use in Concrete only, and should never be used in
block or brick base material.
Environment
The anchor is designed for use in a Wet environment.
Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The anchor requires a 1/2" hole to be drilled in the base material
(Concrete only). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit
that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.
Diameter of Anchor
The diameter of the anchor is 1/2".
Length Anchor
The length of the anchor is 5-1/2"
Thread Length
The length of the threads on the anchor is 3-3/4" in length.
Minimum Embedment
The minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 2-1/4".
Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 2-1/4"
of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.
Maximum Fixture Thickness
The maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the
material being fastened for a anchor is 2-3/4". This will ensure
that the minimum embedment of 2-1/4" will be met.
Fixture Hole Diameter
The hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger
than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 1/2" diameter
anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/8".
Torque Value
To be set properly in the concrete, the anchor must be torqued to
between 50 - 60 ft./lbs.
Spacing between Anchors
Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 5" from each other
when measured center to center.
Edge Distance
It is very important not to install the anchor any closer than
2-1/2" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.
