Description
Coolant temperature sensor The engine ECU accepts the signal of the
coolant temperature sensor as a correction signal for engine fuel
injection and ignition, and is also used to control the coolant
fan, air conditioner, etc., its role should not be underestimated.
If the ECU accepts the distorted coolant temperature sensor signal,
it will seriously affect the normal operation of the engine, and
even make the engine difficult to start.
The coolant temperature sensor is installed in the water jacket of
the engine block or in the coolant pipeline, and is in contact with
the coolant to detect the coolant temperature of the engine. After
the ECU receives the temperature signal, it corrects the fuel
injection time and ignition time.
